About the role Identify and pursue new business opportunities in schools and public libraries using public data. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline in the CRM, reporting progress regularly. Expand Informit’s reach in international university library networks, focusing on North America. Manage inbound business inquiries and CRM leads. Travel locally, interstate, or internationally as needed. Collaborate with the Head of Sales to execute the sales plan and meet targets. Work with Marketing to enhance Informit’s market presence. As the job title you will: Drive sales negotiations for Informit Explore in specialized markets. Manage relationships with large consortia for new sales and subscription renewals. Engage with prospects regularly, meeting KPIs through training sessions and webinars. Build and maintain strong customer relationships for long-term partnerships. Develop in-depth product knowledge to effectively convey Informit's value to clients. Oversee customer communications within the CRM. Participate in team meetings, sharing insights on market and customer trends. Work closely with Customer Success to handle accounts, licenses, renewals, and invoicing. Report key business wins and losses to stakeholders. Provide general administrative support as needed. To be successful in this role you will have: Proven client-facing sales experience in a related industry. Highly motivated, goal-driven, and results-oriented. Experience in cold calling and lead validation. Skilled in presentations, public speaking, and customer management with keen attention to detail. Adaptable, proactive, and analytical with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills. In-depth knowledge of the US and Canadian tertiary library sector. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook). Valid driver’s license with full-time access to a car. Willingness to travel interstate or internationally, including overnight stays.
