About the Role Primary responsibilities include: leadership of the academic administration function and staff; design, development, and implemetation of academic administration processes; negotiation of cross functional documentation processes for academic administration; integration of technologies and automation in academic administration cycles; project management of strategic academic administration projects; high level analysis and reporting on key metrics and delivering presentations to senior leaders; fostering mutually beneficial partnering relationships with the academic schools; fostering mutually beneficial working relationships with key stakeholders such as Registrar, P&C, Quality, and Finance. Selection Criteria Qualifications and Professional Standing: Possession of a postgraduate qualification in Business, Administration or equivalent and extensive relevant experience. Essential: Committed Christian involved in a local congregation. Extensive experience (10 years) working in coordination and administration. An understanding of current and emerging trends in Higher Education and best practice academic administration. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and growing, fast-paced environment. Extensive administration and project management skills. Strong and developed interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve outcomes. Demonstrated capacity to apply specialist and integrated bodies of knowledge to work assignments, such as program and policy development and implementation. Proven ability to manage specialised units where significant innovation, initiative and/or judgment are required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes and meet deadlines. Knowledge of and ability to apply equal opportunity principles and work health and safety principles in the workplace. Strong technological literacy, including Microsoft Office suite and experience with a learning management system, Moodle is strongly preferred. Full Australian Working Rights.
