The Role This role reports to our Finance Manager and is supported by a team of finance professionals. You will build on your current finance skills and put your accounts learnings into practice. You will support the team by assisting with a range of accounting functions, including accounts, reconciliations and month-end processes. Duties Assisting with monthly and statutory financial reporting including board reports, profit & loss and balance sheets Providing support to the accounts payable, receivable and Payroll functions General administrative duties, as required Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations About you We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant who is ambitious and focused on gaining exposure across different aspects of the finance and accounting functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial stability and supporting decision-making by providing accurate financial data to management. The successful applicant will require: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to capture data accurately and think analytically Solid understanding of general accounting practices, including accounts payable and receivable Excellent written and verbal communication skills Fantastic problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solution-focused mindset Self-drive and adaptability and be able to manage time effectively.
