The AVC Interior Design Team is on the lookout for its next design champion to step in as Interior Design Coordinator for a maternity leave cover role You’ll be working closely with the QLD Interior Lead to revitalise iconic local pubs and bring fresh energy to Brownfield & Minor Refresh Projects. What You’ll Be Doing: Assist in developing design briefs & scopes of work Plan furniture layouts, create schedules & handle tenders for projects Source, track & layer materials and design elements Manage budgets and ensure everything stays on track Coordinate furniture delivery, placement & landscaping for refresh projects This full-time contract role kicks off ASAP (ideally within 2-4 weeks) , so if you're ready to hit the ground running, we’d love to hear from you What We’re Looking For: Prior experience in a similar role – Interior Design, Display Home Staging, Visual Merchandising, or any visual/creative role will be highly regarded A creative eye and passion for design Ability to work independently but thrive in a team A keen learner excited to grow in the Interiors field (training available) Hospitality background/knowledge (bonus points) Strong communication skills – both verbal & written Attention to detail and a drive for results Experience with design software (Bluebeam is a plus) Why Join AVC?
