Our Ridge Street site services many customers in a contract manufacturing capacity focused on packaged, natural, and processed cheeses. These include the renown Bega cheese blocks—mild, tasty, and vintage—shredded and cubed cheese, natural slices, parmesan, Colby, mozzarella, and burger slice cheeses, and lactose-free range. The Casual Production Worker's role is to supplement the production or permanent staff for specific needs. Production workers are responsible for a variety of tasks, including food handling and product monitoring. Their duties include adding and removing products from conveyors, reworking rejected items, and restocking items used in production processes. The successful candidate must be flexible and available to work both day and afternoon shifts. Responsibilities Monitor, identify, and reject any non-conforming products. Verify food contact surfaces have been sanitized before coming into contact with cheese Stay organized for product changes as instructed by the Team Leader and according to the planned daily schedule. Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks and ensure safe manual handling techniques to minimize strain and prevent injuries. Restock items used in daily production. Adhere to the company’s safety and quality policies and procedures.
