Senior HSE Coordinator - Residential Construction Location: Central Brisbane Salary: $160k - $180k Super Join a dynamic high-rise residential construction team where your skills in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management will be valued and supported. I am seeking a solutions-focused, experienced HSE Advisor to support operational teams in delivering high-quality construction projects with a strong focus on safety and compliance on-site. You'll play a key role in promoting a "safety first" culture and ensuring systems and procedures are effectively implemented and maintained across sites. Key Responsibilities: Represent the business in all health, safety, and environmental matters. Assist site teams in setting up, implementing, and reviewing HSE management systems and procedures. Monitor compliance and provide guidance to ensure all activities meet legal and company HSE requirements. Lead incident investigations and collaborate with regulatory inspectors as needed. Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, evacuation drills, and review Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS). Champion a safety-focused culture that minimises risk and supports productivity. Identify HSE risks and ensure appropriate controls are in place. Support quality management by ensuring project work aligns with company Quality Policies and Procedures. Coach and mentor employees and subcontractors to proactively engage with HSE practices. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, clients, consultants, and regulators. Additional Responsibilities: Be flexible and willing to assist with other duties and responsibilities as required. Participate in relevant training programs to stay current in HSE best practices. What's Required?
