Senior Legal Operations Coordinator — West Perth, Perth

Job Description We are seeking a detailed-oriented and proactive Senior Legal Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic legal team. This role combines financial oversight with operational management to ensure optimal performance across all practice areas, reporting directly to and working closely with the Business Manager. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: Process accounts including bank account reconciliations Manage GST and PAYG processing Monitor trust accounts, ensuring adequate funds for ongoing work and collaborate with Professional Staff and Clients in relation to trust balances Oversee unbilled Work in Progress (WIP) and collaborate with Professional Staff to maintain adequate billing cycles Performance Management: Track daily time recording targets (5 hours per day) for all Professional Staff Analyse and manage workload distribution and productivity metrics Identify instances of unrecorded or undervalued work Support Professional Staff in recognising and respecting the value of their expertise Client Engagement: Manage the distribution and execution of all Client Engagement and Scope of Works (SOW) documentation Monitor compliance with engagement protocols Ensure work commences only after Client Engagement documentation and retainer payment Identify and process variations to existing SOWs as matter developments require Revenue Protection: Monitor debtor accounts and collaborate with Professional Staff on collection strategies Assess financial viability of ongoing work with outstanding payments Contribute to KPI monitoring for all Professional Staff Implement targeted performance improvement strategies Administrative Oversight: Coordinate & action file maintenance and cleanup procedures Assistance with creation and implementation of new office procedures Manage trust fund allocations About Solomon Hollett Lawyers: At Solomon Hollett Lawyers, we deliver exceptional legal solutions that help our clients succeed.
