Summary: The Bartender is responsible for providing excellent customer service by mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at the bar. He/she must ensure that guests are served promptly and all drinks are prepared to the highest quality standards. The Bartender also maintains accurate records of orders, inventory, and cash transactions. Responsibilities: Welcome guests to the bar and provide excellent customer service. Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages as requested. Check guests’ identification and ensure that they are of a legal drinking age. Ensure that the bar area is clean and organized at all times. Stock the bar with supplies, including beverages, garnishes, ice, and glassware. Receive and manage cash transactions according to established policies. Maintain a detailed inventory of alcohol products and supplies. Follow standard recipes to ensure consistent quality of drinks. Check guests for overall satisfaction and handle any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications: Minimum of high school education. Previous experience in a similar role is an added advantage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages. Must have or obtain any required state or local certifications. Ability to stand or move for an extended period. Must be able to work during weekends, holidays, or when needed. Must be of legal drinking age.
