Ruby Developments, the building arm of Living Gems are building some townhouses in Yeronga and are looking for a carpenter to be part of the team. About the Role We are currently seeking a qualified Cert III Carpenter who is hardworking, reliable and qualified to join our team. The role would include basic framing, ability to hang and adjust doors and assist with completing defect tasks set at handover of houses, basic maintenance jobs such as installing clotheslines etc. About You Previous experience in a carpentry role ready for the next step in your career Experienced in basic framing for new residential homes, hanging and adjusting doors and general carpentry work Be reliable and trustworthy and be able to work as part of a team Strong safety initiative Have excellent communication skills Be reliable and dedicated to the role General knowledge of the construction industry and environmental principles and relevant legislation/standards Current Driver's Licence Construction Industry Card (White Card) You must have your own tool kit What we Offer We offer above award rates, plus overtime and weekly pay Ongoing local work with leading builder with long pipeline of work Monday to Friday working week Great working culture We support the continuous learning and professional development of our employees, in turn promoting career progression through the company About Us Living Gems is an experienced, established developer and operator of master-planned over 50’s lifestyle resorts throughout Queensland.
