About you and this position As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and will: have a sound knowledge of the principles underpinning quality customer service have an understanding of Council and Community needs be an active listener, who demonstrates empathy and has great communication skills enjoy providing assistance and advice across a broad range of topics, functions or issues have the ability to problem solve and the tenacity to follow things through thrive in a team environment and have a positive can-do attitude. The successful candidate will also have: proven experience in a face-to-face customer service role experience in cash handling and banking have previous experience in Local Government or a sound understanding of the services Council provides. This position is available on a fixed-term contract until 31 October 2025 on a part-time (18 hours per week) basis, and is classified as a Grade 3 under the Campbelltown Municipal Officers Staff Enterprise Agreement No. 11, 2024 and relevant Award. Hours of work will be Monday from 8:45am to 5:15pm, Tuesday 8:45am to 3:15pm, and Wednesday 10am to 2pm.
