Conduct thorough structural analysis and produce detailed calculations and specifications for design solutions. Review and refine designs, ensuring they meet project requirements and budget constraints. Communicate directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver cost-effective, compliant design solutions. Ensure that structural designs align with project budgets and assist in managing design related costs. Accurately track and report variations, assisting in invoice processing and ensuring correct billing for all projects. Review and validate all designs for accuracy and regulatory compliance before issuance to clients. Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers, fostering an environment of professional growth and continuous improvement. Skills and experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Minimum of 2 years' experience in structural engineering, with a focus on volume housing. Proficiency in structural design and analysis software (e.g Toolkit, Space Gass, Inducta, AutoCAD). Experience with volume housing construction teams (highly desirable) Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, regulations, and standards for residential construction. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams. Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
