Job Vacancy: Truck Drivers Job Type: Full-time Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per annum plus Superannuation About the Role: K.Englefield Wine Grape Services (KEWGS) is seeking experienced Truck Drivers. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth and efficient operations. As part of our logistics team, you will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles, adhering to strict safety standards, and ensuring timely deliveries. Key Responsibilities: Maintain the truck and other company equipment in a clean, organized, and well-kept condition. Oversee the loading process to ensure that goods are stowed securely within the truck's bed. Assess the load's weight and volume to ensure it complies with transport regulations and capacity limits. Ensure a comprehensive knowledge of safety procedures, regulations, and best practices for efficient loading and unloading operations. Conduct a thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspection of the truck to ensure it is in proper working condition which includes checking tires, brakes, lights, signals, mirrors, fluids, and any other essential components. Communicate with dispatchers, teams, and staff to ensure smooth operations Operate the truck safely to transport materials to and from construction sites or designated locations in compliance with regulations. Carefully inspect loading documents, including bills of lading, delivery orders, and manifests, to verify accuracy and completeness before leaving the loading site. Requirements: Certificate III level qualification is required Valid truck driver’s license Minimum 1 year of truck driving experience Strong focus on safety, compliance, and vehicle maintenance Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, and weekends during peak seasons Ability to work independently and as part of a dedicated transport team Join KEWGS and be part of a professional team that plays a key role in Australia’s wine industry We look forward to welcoming skilled truck drivers to our team
