The role: An amazing opportunity for a Enrolled Nurse to join our Residential Aged Care home in Woolwich. You will provide holistic care and deliver best-practices in person-centred care. You will deliver safe and effective both consumer choice and clinical care to our residents. You will be responsible for ensuring that our consumers receive the care they need with dignity, respect and involving them in all decisions about their health. Who we are looking for: You will be a team player, professional, friendly and can work a rotating roster and are available to work at our Woolwich home. Must have at least one year experience in a similar role; preferably in aged care Excellent clinical knowledge and competent documentation skills Great interpersonal skills and effective communication skills Medications/injections endorsement Wound care/wound management experience Complex health care knowledge, and know how - eg diabetic management and fluid balance charts Demonstrated ability to coordinate services, supervise staff when necessary Professional, friendly disposition, and have the ability to remain calm in a very busy and dynamic aged care home Experience supervising and working with a team Self-motivated, trustworthy, takes pride personal appearance. Strive for excellence in care and service for our people Demonstrated knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards Demonstrated knowledge of COVID 19 and infection control procedures. Experience in accreditation and knowledge would be highly regarded Essential Requirements: Diploma of Nursing or other appropriate qualification Current AHPRA Registration What's in it for you?
