The Support People (TSP) is a leading registered NDIS provider in regional Victoria, creating an inclusive world where people with disability live the life of their choosing with our support. This position serves as the pivotal face of The Support People, blending reception duties with comprehensive administrative responsibilities under the General Manager’s guidance. This role requires an individual with exceptional organisational skills and acute attention to detail. Success in this position hinges on the ability to coordinate tasks efficiently, maintain strong communication, and exercise discretion with confidential information. It is ideal for a candidate who can adeptly manage multiple responsibilities with professionalism and efficiency. You will:. • Office administration including answering phones, shopping, vehicle checks and management, stakeholder management (e.g. real estate, IT etc) and other ad hoc activities. • Assistance with marketing activities. • Maintain staff vehicle checks and Fleet cars • Have an understanding of NDIS • Maintain office shopping orders and uniforms • Act as the Emergency Warden for the office. What you will need: • Excellent written and verbal communication: Ability to convey information clearly and handle complex communications. • Knowledge of applications, processes, and various software platforms. • Tactful and effective liaison skills: Able to collaborate with managers and colleagues to resolve sensitive issues. • Strong time management and organisational abilities: Highly developed skills in organising tasks and meeting deadlines. • Attention to detail: • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Capable of using Excel for reporting, and analysis. • Multitasking and prioritisation: Ability to juggle multiple tasks, set priorities, and complete work on time. Screening and external authorisation requirements: • Employee Working with Children Check. • NDIS Workers Screening Check. • Applicants who have lived overseas for 12 months or longer during the past 10 years are required to provide the results of an international police check. • Completion of NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’, and provision of a copy of the certificate of completion. • Completion of New Worker NDIS Induction Module and provision of a copy of the certificate of completion. • Current Drivers License. • Your own vehicle (registered & insured). • Completion of NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’, and provision of a copy of the certificate of completion. • Completion of NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module “New NDIS Induction Module online training module” • Completion of NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module “Supporting Effective Communication Module”
