Applications are sought for qualified Child Care Workers interested in casual relief work in Junior School Outside School Hours Care. These will be 3-hour shifts (2-3 shifts per week) for term time and 5 hours – 7.6 hours during the school holiday program depending on availability. You will have knowledge of child development, will work well within a team and be a good communicator. Some record keeping and administration duties will be required. CGGS is committed to child safety. As such, the successful applicant will be expected to satisfy child protection screening and adhere to the School’s Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct. All staff must: Always demonstrate and ensure compliance with the School’s Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct and complete regular training in Child Protection standards. Promote the safety and wellbeing of children and young people to whom we provide services. Ensure that their interactions with children and young people are positive and safe. Provide adequate care and supervision of children and young people in their charge. Act as a positive role model for children and young people. Must hold, or have the ability to obtain, a current Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP).
