The key duties of the position include This role is for an administrative assistant, with experience working in a busy reception environment. Reporting to the Team Leader, Events you will support a small team of hospitality professionals in the day to day management of a four star venue and adult education campus. The role is varied and includes reception duties, hospitality support and general administrative assistant work. What will you do? To be successful in this role you will have great interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills and a minimum of two years experience working in a similar role. You will be required to undertake a variety of tasks on a day to day basis across the AIPM campus. These include: event and program co-ordination, reception duties such as switchboard, mail service, managing security gate access, responding to staff and client queries/requests, booking taxis, distributing hotel room cards and managing front gate security access. You will also process EFTPOS payments, provide accommodation check-in/check-out services, manage and order corporate stationery and assist with classroom set-up and clean-up. This position also provides logistical support to AIPM programs, and events as well as surge capacity to our hospitality team including: waitering and bar service.
