The Role: Due to exciting growth and development across the business, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Residential team and manage sustainable, profitable sales for the Residential business across Australia and New Zealand. This role will see you focus on executing sales strategies, overseeing the management of key accounts with retailers, and setting up actionable plans for the residential sales representatives to achieve results with new and existing customers. Key Responsibilities: Lead, motivate and mentor our team of 10 Residential Territory Managers to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets. Establish measurable KPI’s and cycle plans for the sales team and lead them to execute account management plans for their B2B retail customers. Provide the sales team with detailed product knowledge and guidance on solution sales. Build and maintain strong relationships with our retail partners, ensuring regular follow-ups and a personalised service to meet their needs. Monitor customer satisfaction across each territory, resolving escalated issues and identifying opportunities and obstacles to drive growth. Lead efforts of new product launches to our retail customers and attend industry events. Implement and execute pricing policies across retail partners. Collaborate with other Gerflor departments to deliver cohesive customer solutions and maximise opportunities with key retail accounts. Provide timely and accurate sales reports on a regular basis About you: With a solid track record of success in a similar role or industry, you will hold a passion to lead and inspire your team to deliver results. Using sound residential business acumen, you are able to set priorities, manage targets, negotiate effectively, and build authentic relationships. You’re resilient, not afraid of change, and able to perform under pressure when required. You will possess the understanding and ability to communicate a compelling brand, customer strategies, and consumer insights to both customers and your sales team. You’ll enjoy planned interstate travel to visit your team and customers and you’re happy with an overnight stay where required. Skills and Qualifications: 3 years experience in business development, marketing and/or sales ability within the building products, flooring, interior design or related markets. A business qualification, or relevant years experience in the industry. Experience with leading a team, call cycle planning, developing sales strategies & using performance KPI’s to achieve results. Experience working in a global business. Hold an unrestricted Drivers Licence. Willing and able to to undertake frequent interstate travel by road or air. Sound computer skills (ie. Salesforce,MS Office Suite, CRM, Microsoft Navision). A permanent right to work in Australia (unfortunately we are unable to accommodate visa holders or offer sponsorship for this role). Why Gerflor?
