We are excited to announce the opening of our new waste recovery facility and are seeking a dedicated Weighbridge Operator to join our growing team. Position Overview: As a Weighbridge Operator at Bin City, you will be responsible for overseeing all movements of vehicles and waste in and out of our facility. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the accurate recording of waste materials, maintaining compliance with environmental regulations, charging our clients and supporting our commitment to exceptional customer service. As well as assisting accounts with invoicing of clients. Key Responsibilities: Operate the weighbridge to accurately record the weight of incoming and outgoing vehicles and waste materials. Ensure all vehicles are correctly documented and processed in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of all weighbridge transactions, including data entry into our waste management system. Assist drivers with the weighing process, providing clear instructions and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. Monitor and report any discrepancies or issues related to vehicle movements and waste materials. Collaborate with the waste recovery facility team to support overall operations and achieve performance targets. Adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Assisting accounts with invoicing of clients. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in a weighbridge operation or similar role within the waste management or logistics industry ideal but not mandatory, all training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and entry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to problem solve and think outside the box. Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry and record-keeping. Basic skills in accounting and accounting software (Xero).
