About the team The Supporter Care Administrators roles sit within the Supporter Experience & Digital Unit which works to provide best in class supporter experience across all CCNSW’s fundraising offers. This unit provides customer service to our participants and donors and delivers the processes that underpin supporter processing (data storage, donation processing, and administrative communications). The Marketing & Fundraising division is embarking on an ambitious growth plan that will change the way we approach supporter experience. The unit will therefore need to contribute to these changes to increase engagement and loyalty. About the role: The Supporter Care Administrators strive to provide an outstanding supporter experience across all CCNSW fundraising offers including campaigns, appeals, regular giving, philanthropy and gifts in wills. They are the first point of contact for all incoming supporter enquiries across mail, email, telephone, SMS and online. The role processes donations, event registrations and data updates and shares supporter insights with a view to continuously improving the care we provide. Key responsibilities of the role: The role will approach each donor or supporter interaction as an advocate for Cancer Council and its work, ensuring we project a consistent message in keeping with our vision. This must be balanced by meeting the supporter’s individual needs. The role must therefore approach all interactions with professionalism and warmth. • Respond to all inbound supporter enquiries across all channels (telephone, email, mail, SMS and social) to deliver: General enquiries and fundraising information Campaign registrations, conversions and high value support One-off donation processing Regular giving set-up, updates, saves and cancellations Engage supporters in Cancer Council’s work and build loyal relationships with supporters Handle supporter complaints through to resolution. Data updates, quality assurance and checks • Undertake proactive outbound supporter communications (as required) across mail, email, telephone, SMS and online to deliver: Campaign engagement, conversions and high value support Regular giving saves Donation declines, cancellations and changes Cross sell and reactivations Supporter data updates • Undertake accurate data updates to the CRM to update supporter information, fundraising and customer service delivered. • Gather and share supporter insights across the marketing and fundraising division, to champion the needs of our supporters and contribute the culture of continuous improvement. • Adhere to all CCNSW internal policies and external legislations i.e Privacy Act, PCI Compliance, Charitable Fundraising Act requirements, financial controls etc. • Contribute to the documentation of internal policies and processes. About you Essential: Enthusiasm for promoting Cancer Council’s vision and services Excellent communication skills including a confident and professional telephone manner and proficiency in written English Have accurate data entry skills (minimum 70 strokes per min, and 98% accuracy) Aware of basic marketing concepts and applying them to outbound communications Experience of working in a busy deadline driven environment and delivering work to service level agreements Be a professional, willing, enthusiastic, reliable team member contributing to a positive working environment Computer literate –pick up new software easily, intermediate knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel Ability to build strong relationships with peers, managers, internal clients and customers Desirable: Understanding of direct marketing and /or fundraising principles Experience of delivering high quality customer service through inbound and outbound communications Experience of using a CRM system to inform and record customer interactions About the benefits Generous salary packaging options that can increase your take home pay by paying certain expenses using pre-tax dollars up to $15,900 a year.
