Headquartered in Brisbane, we are a dynamic business with projects across Australia and New Zealand Position Overview: The Senior Contracts Administrator is responsible for overseeing the management, negotiation, and execution of contracts across multiple projects or business units. This role requires a deep understanding of legal and contractual terms, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. The Senior Contracts Administrator will work closely with project managers, legal teams, and external partners to resolve contract issues, mitigate risks, and ensure the timely and efficient execution of contracts. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a proven ability to manage complex contracts in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including procurement, vendor, and subcontractor and professional services agreements Conduct legal research, analysis, and provide support on various legal matters as needed. Assist project managers with risk management (including risk register) and assist with financial reporting in line with project plans and budgets Variation investigations and processing Collect and analyse project data and consult with Project management on submissions of monthly payments, claims, review invoices Ensure contracts align with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards. Respond to breaches of contracts and extensions of time in a timely manner Maintain stakeholder and supplier relationships and minimise risk Assist in resolving contractual disputes and discrepancies Required Skills and Experience – 5years relevant Contracts Administration experience in a similar context, electrical and instrumental experience will be highly regarded – Tertiary qualifications in law/commerce/finance/engineering or equivalent – Detailed knowledge of construction contract law, including relevant Acts, regulations and industry standards – An ability to engage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, subcontractors and suppliers – Excellent time management and prioritisation skills for a diverse and challenging workload – High level written skills with excellent attention to detail We are an equal-opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone is valued.
