Job Summary: We are looking for a Sales Team Member to join our retail team in Mackay, Queensland. As a member of the sales team, you will be responsible for serving customers over the counter, answering incoming phone calls, testing batteries, battery fitting in-store and roadside, providing assistance with stocktakes and maintaining the showroom. You will also be required to stock shelves and assist with deliveries when required. This is a full-time position with occasional after-hours on-call duty for roadside battery fitting (rostered). Skills: Self-motivated. Strong communication skills. Enthusiastic and committed attitude to achieving high standards of work. Friendly and professional phone manner. Customer focused. Excellent time management skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Adaptive to changing priorities. Well-presented and professional. Physically fit with the ability to lift batteries up to 25kgs. Manual driver’s licence. Demonstrated experience in a retail, sales or customer service role is desirable, however, not essential.
