Membership & Administration Officer • Fulltime – Permanent position (Roebourne, WA) • Benefit from a supportive, collaborative & vibrant culture • Work life balance plus flexible working environment Position summary: To oversee Yindjibarndi Aboriginal Corporation (YAC) and Yindjibarndi Ngurra Aboriginal Corporations (YNAC) membership applications and notification process, including database management and administration, and general administrative support for YAC and YNAC. The Organisation: Yindjibarndi Nation Ltd (YNL) was established in late 2022 by the native title representative bodies to develop project delivery capacity for the community. Yindjibarndi Nation’s mission is to deliver lasting solutions to the challenges our community faces. In partnership with other Yindjibarndi entities and stakeholders, we work strategically across three focus areas—community, culture and commerce—to help our people prosper into the future. The Position: The purpose of this role is to provide high quality Membership and Administrative support to the Yindjibarndi PBC Corporations. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: • Manage and monitor the CTMS membership database for the corporations and any other contact database • Prepare all required information for Membership Review Committee’s assessment of applications • First point of contact within the corporations for all member related matters, including management correspondence with member applications and members • provide administrative support to the PBC Corporations • Assist and participate as required with Membership Review Committee Meetings and Membership Review Board Meetings About you: Based in our Roebourne office, you will have previous proven experience in a similar role; demonstrate a positive, “can do” attitude as well as: • Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Membership Officer • Experience working with Indigenous People, particularly in remote communities • Experience in dealing with sensitive and challenging public enquiries by telephone and face to face, in a courteous and helpful manner • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite • Experience using CTMS (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation and Trust Management System) Our employees enjoy: • Competitive annual salary • Flexibility • Permanent opportunity with a great team culture and environment • Ongoing career development opportunities What you need to do next: If the above excites you and you believe you have the potential to excel in this role, APPLY now as we would love to hear from you.
