Accountant / Payroll Administrator Everton Park, QLD | Permanent Position | $80,000 - $90,000 Super Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant / Payroll Administrator to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, handling a diverse range of financial and payroll responsibilities. The Role Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be responsible for: Processing and managing fortnightly payroll, including new employee data entry, timesheets, leave management, superannuation, and PAYG withholding. Assisting with documentation, such as employment contracts and hire agreements. Handling month-end processes, including general ledger postings and balance sheet reconciliations. Performing monthly reconciliations of debtor accounts and annual fee processing. Overseeing payroll and month-end reconciliations in Xero. Assisting with cash handling procedures, including maintaining cash floats and distributing funds for fundraising activities. Supporting team members and undertaking additional finance-related tasks as required. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven experience in an accounting/payroll position. Proficiency in web-based accounting systems (TASS experience is advantageous). Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft suite. Experience using Xero (preferred but not essential). Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong organisational and time management skills.
