Why Your Role Matters Our Educational Designer/Developer plays a key role within the Technology Enabled Learning Support (TELS) team in the Learning and Teaching Group (LTG) by providing leadership and strategic thinking in the development and implementation of innovative learning practices. This stimulating and challenging role entails promoting educational excellence through conducting rigorous quality assurance processes, delivering learning and teaching development and resources, and designing and developing quality learning activities, modules, programs and courses in collaboration with academic staff to achieve learning and teaching strategies at UNSW Canberra. The role reports to the Education Support Manager, supporting the Head of Student Life and Experience, and has no direct reports. Who You Are (skills and experience): Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced. Sound stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior management and liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing systems or programs requiring integration of theoretical or technical knowledge in a complex, specialised environment. Proven ability to collate and analyse data to support quality assurance initiatives, including identifying trends. Experience working with a range of computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Suite, Moodle, Turnitin, and Echo360. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team. Well-developed quality assurance processes, with a proven track record of leading complex transformation and uplift projects. Strong skills in designing and delivering professional development training programs is desirable.
