Diverse role Hybrid work arrangements, Mulgrave location Flexible hours (up to 20 hours per week) Small, highly successful, growing business Great team and culture To support our growth, we are seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Manager to join our team. This is a new role reporting to the Director of Technology and will work with a team of highly IT literate users in a small, well-resourced consulting business spread across multiple countries. This is a hybrid role where you can have flexibility to work from the office and home. We are open to various working hours and days, so long as the needs of the organisation are being serviced. Key responsibilities will include: Being the first point of IT support contact for all staff Proactive and timely IT support to ensure the continuity of business operations Troubleshooting and resolving end user software and hardware issues and managing the escalation to supplier or partner organisations Onboarding and Offboarding of staff in relation to IT hardware and systems access Ensuring the correct operation and patching of all Office IT related equipment Provisioning of cloud Microsoft Azure infrastructure to support the organisation’s requirements Developing and maintaining system documentation and procedures Oversight of the integrity of corporate and client data in line with our ISO27001 accreditation Assisting with ongoing ISO27001 accreditation compliance Working with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and repair of hardware Evaluating ongoing organisational technology needs and working with the Director(s) to assess, plan and implement systems enhancements Required Skills and Background: Significant experience gained in diverse IT roles with broad-based hands-on skills Previous experience working with Windows, Microsoft 365 suite and managing Microsoft Azure virtualised infrastructure Ability to independently troubleshoot and adapt to changes in priority Excellent attention to detail, organisational and communication skills Previous experience managing MacOS, iOS and Android devices highly regarded Previous experience working with ISO27001 standard (or similar) highly regarded Previous experience working with a small organisation highly regarded Relevant tertiary qualification highly regarded At QMetrix, we value people who: Demonstrate initiative and drive, with a willingness to learn and develop Show a positive attitude and are team players Are organised, with good personal time management skills and the ability to balance competing priorities Our people are a big part of what makes QMetrix such a great place to work.
