About the Role As the Site Engineer in the Rockhampton based office, you will be working alongside the Project Manager on delivering civil asset renewal and maintenance projects in the rail sector, as well as other civil infrastructure projects. The role is permanent/full time and will be a mix of office and field based workloads managing contractors, ensuring quality compliance and project management. You will be required to travel throughout Northern/Central Queensland and surrounding regions. The role is desirable for a Civil Engineer who has a strong interest in civil construction and project management for their career pathway development. Key Responsibilities and Duties Ensuring safe and efficient delivery including managing works to meet client expectations and industry / regulated safety and technical standards Preparation of project documentation including safety management plans, schedules, and other project specific documents Managing project deliverables by project coordination, scheduling, and administration Quality assurance and control Ensure site conforms to HSE policies and procedures Internal reporting and job management Stakeholder communication within boundaries of the projects Management of project contractors and subcontractors Procurement of required work permits, approvals and project materials To be successful in this, you will possess: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar 2 years experience in an equivalent or similar role Class C Driver’s Licence Construction Industry Induction (White Card) Strong interpersonal and written skills to communicate with all stakeholders High level of organisational & time management skills Rail, civil construction and/or project management experience RSW competency What we are offering: Development and growth opportunities Permanent opportunity Competitive salary Supportive, close knit team We are a company that offers a great team-based environment with opportunities for growth and career development.
