We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled afternoon Maintenance Electrician to join a global leader in the steel and sheetmetal manufacturing industry This is a perfect role for an electrical/ mechanically minded individual seeking a role offering long term stability Key Responsibilities: Maintain and troubleshoot fixed plant equipment on-site Repairs on mechanical and hydraulic components on manufacturing machinery Use Siemens S7 PLCs and SEW Eurodrive equipment to program, modify and fault find Use Profibus and Profinet to manage communication systems Assist with the transition to new maintenance planning systems Assist with leave coverage and maintenance callouts Requirements: Must have current NSW Electrical Licence and 2 years proven experience Must have experience maintaining and repairing steel production machinery Yellow card is preferred but not essential Experienced with Siemens PLCs, SEW Eurodrive equipment, and communication protocols Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Keen eye for detail Own reliable transport Strong sense of safety in the workplace Benefits: Competitive salary and overtime paid at penalty rates 14% Superannuation and quarterly bonuses Permanent afternoon shift Employee recognition programs Access to company ute when travelling to regional areas Opportunities for growth within a global leading company HOW TO APPLY: Please send an up-to-date resume highlighting your relevant experience.
