About us Sorco is a civil construction company specialising in delivering infrastructure packages in the rail and heavy civil construction industry. We are growing at an exciting rate and currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail oriented Administration Assistant to join the team. This role will support Business Management, Engineering and Site Based teams and is best suited to someone that is looking to start their career in the Construction Industry and further develop their administrative skills. Qualification & experience • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organisational skills • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously • Comfortable working across multiple areas in a fast-paced environment • Proactive and motivated to succeed; someone that enjoys a challenge Duties & responsibilities • Manage administration email • General data entry, including for accounts & finance functions • Maintaining and organising physical and electronic project files • Coordinate, schedule and book site inductions for trades and plant • Support in the implementation of business systems • Assist with management of company assets and equipment as required • Other general office duties as required A generous salary is on offer for the right candidate, together with extensive growth opportunities and a great working environment with a supportive and inclusive team.
