About the role: The purpose of the Contract Administrator role at Yurra is to provide high quality administrative support to the landscape construction team – a highly motivated, hard-working, happy and creative group of people (we build things) – a role that encompasses a diverse range of tasks. You will be responsible for the following: • Sourcing trees and plants from nurseries (some knowledge of plants advantageous), sourcing construction materials and placing orders • Coordinating and tracking deliveries to the Northwest using contracted freight company • Effective administration of contracts through all phases, including reviewing contract documentation, preparation of variations, progress claims and general correspondence • Helping with quoting and tendering – including taking off quantities from hard copy plans, obtaining quotations from suppliers, setting up cost estimating spreadsheets and compiling tender submission documents (in Microsoft Word format) • Compiling Building Permit applications • Compiling As Built and Handover Documentation • Filing photos, correspondence, POs, delivery dockets, recording document transmittals etc. in One Drive Job folders to maintain QA compliance • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (for ordering and quoting), Word for presentation of tender submissions and Adobe Acrobat • Familiar with using Nearmaps (not essential – can be trained) • Other varied administrative tasks and general office duties where required About you: Based in our Perth office, you will have previous proven experience as a Contract Administrator, ideally in the landscape construction sector, and demonstrate a positive, “can do” attitude as well as: • Minimum 1 years’ experience in Contract Administration role • Solid understanding of the landscape or construction process (Preferred) • Excellent attention to detail • Basic accounting knowledge and aptitude for numbers and budgets • Exceptional organisational, interpersonal and communication skills • Solid MS office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Confident interacting with senior management and external customers • Ability to plan and prioritise workload. • Ability to work both individually and in a team environment • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Demonstrated problem solving skills Our employees enjoy: • Competitive remuneration • Flexibility • Casual Fridays • Permanent opportunity with a great team culture and environment • Ongoing career development opportunities • Access to an employee assistance program (EAP) • Discounted health benefits What you need to do next: If the above excites you and you believe you have the potential to excel in this role, APPLY now as we would love to hear from you.
