LAAS now have a range of opportunities for conscientious and caring individuals to join their team providing Disability Support services in SA’s Riverland region Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Community Support Workers to join our team. As a Community Support Worker, you’ll work with a diverse range of clients, providing essential support with daily living skills while fostering independence. If you thrive on challenges, have a positive attitude, and respect our clients’ individual choices and decisions, we want you on our team Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with essential daily living tasks, including personal care. Provide domestic assistance, including light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. Offer emotional and friendship support to clients. Transport clients to and from services and activities. Encourage client empowerment and self-confidence. Support participants with complex or challenging behaviors and needs. Maintain detailed progress notes for clients. Participate in staff meetings and attend required training Qualifications and Requirements: NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory). Certificate III or IV in Individual or Disability Support (or willingness to obtain). Current First Aid/CPR certification. Current South Australian driver’s license. Experience in supporting clients with complex behaviors is advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
