Our goal is to provide a warm friendly workplace where our staff are valued and are proud of their contribution. • The Role… Become part of the Food & Dairy Co team as a Night Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor in a unique but critical hands-on role which oversees all facets of our nighttime warehouse and logistics operations. You will oversee and support a team of up to 10 warehouse staff and 25 delivery drivers. There are two positions available, one PM shift (4pm to 12:30am) and one AM shift (12am to 8:30am). Working days: 6 days per week. Ensure all orders are allocated, picked, checked off and loaded correctly and efficiently. Enter approved late orders and print updated paperwork. Sequence new customers correctly for each run, with the assistance of the drivers. Ensure each run has a driver allocated and all absent drivers have been covered. A good rapport must be built and maintained with our drivers and 3PL transport providers. Ensure vehicle pre-op checklists are completed at the start of every shift and any repairs/maintenance is reported. Coordinate with the drivers each shift to ensure DIFOT is achieved. You may be required to complete deliveries from time to time. All damaged and returned is checked off and recorded. Any important feedback/information must be noted in each driver’s diary with supporting photos to be communicated to the office where required. Manage toll usage and hold feedback discussions with drivers where required. Receive deliveries, stock replenishment, cycle counting and general warehouse duties to be performed on each shift. Staff accuracy and performance to be measured and reported for each shift. • What we’re looking for… A motivated person with experience in food service warehousing and delivery operations. Supervisor level experience in the food service industry. Experience in leadership and people management of 10 team members. Proven ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team and promote a high performing team culture. Ability to not only follow, but implement strategic initiatives to enhance the operations efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. Must have minimum MR heavy vehicle license.
