Job Description EL1 Corporate Construction Security Manager Approximate 11-month contract| Canberra Location | $78.95 - $88.31 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation | NV2 clearance required OVERVIEW Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Corporate Construction Security Manager to join their team at the EL1 level. Within this role you will establish and manage robust governance protocols, asset and logistics management, contributing to the development and implementation of project plans by providing insights and recommendations based on procurement and contract management experience. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Provide corporate support and coordinate operational advice in the preparation of procurement activities. Undertake analysis of suppliers, markets, products and service categories to inform procurement planning. Coordinate operational input and provide advice and support to tender processes and technical evaluations. Engagement with enabling areas to coordinate the delivery of activities. Prepare project and financial documentation to inform governance committees. Coordinate extension, renewal or close-out of contracts and monitor and report on agreed key operational performance indicators. Risk management. Corporate document management and filing. Develop and review safe work method statements. EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS Project management skills required. Contract, procurement and financial management skills desirable. Tender evaluation experience desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written. Strong task prioritisation and resource management skills. An understanding of, and commitment to, protective security policies and practices.
