Wodonga Aboriginal Health Service (AWAHS) is the leading provider of primary health care and related social and family support services to Aboriginal people and communities across North East Victoria and the Southern Riverina. AWAHS services include GP clinics, health assessment and education, dental, audiology, chronic disease management, drug and alcohol counselling, child and family services, child and maternal health, home and community care, social and emotional wellbeing support and counselling, allied health, client transport and family support services. We now seek someone who will play a crucial role in offering professional and informative reception and administration services to loyal clients, the community, clinicians , and the amazing AWAHS crew at both our Albury and Wodonga Medical Centres. The AWAHS clini cs are bustling and lively place s , and we need someone vibrant to be a part of this energetic team Here's what we're looking for: • E xperience in reception/administration work , to provide high quality and culturally competent reception and administrative services to patients, doctors and peers. • Knowledge of appointment bookings and scheduling • Strong skills and knowledge when working with Microsoft Office and computers • U nderstand ing and respect for Aboriginal h ealth, culture, and history • E xcellent communication skills, both written and spoken . • Skills in managing and actioning documentation confidentially, and within required timeframes • A commitment to the community and hav ing our clients' best interests at heart • Time management, knowing how to prioritise your work and lending a hand to others in your team • Current Drivers Licence This role is all about being the welcoming face of the AWAHS medical clinic, the first friendly contact for clients.
