Administration Assist Part Time, Permanent Contract 35 hours per week Casual positions also available About the role: Yarrawonga Health are seeking an experienced administration professional who enjoys working in a busy environment with excellent communication, time management and organisational skills. The successful candidate must be able to work well under pressure with competing demands, be competent in clinical and administrative settings, and be familiar with medical terminology and privacy principles. The ability to work as a team member, within a multidisciplinary team, is essential. The position of Administration Assistant requires the ability to be flexible and have enthusiasm for variety in all aspects of the role. It is a requirement of this position to work weekends and public holidays. About Administration Services The Administration Services team is often the health services first point of contact with the public. Our team is required to work across the following roles: Admissions/Theatre Aged Care Antenatal Clinic Main Reception Medical Imaging Medical Records Ward Clerk Other areas of Administration as required Key Selection Criteria High levels of customer service, accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Demonstrated ability to work to tight timelines and prioritise competing work demands. Ability and preparedness to work in and contribute to a team environment. Demonstrated ability to liaise with visitors, patients, staff and management. Desirable Certificate or qualifications in business administration. Previous experience in a hospital or residential aged care facility.
