In addition though, you will still benefit from the technical guidance of other traffic, transport, civil and structural engineers and designers. This team knows it's engineering inside out. Short, sharp feedback from mentors, we grasp concepts quickly, we change, we flex, we move forward. What are we looking for? A couple of things: MicroStation and AutoCAD experience (or one of) Traffic Signal Design experience to DTP standards. Functional Layout Design experience (roads, intersections, car parks). AutoTURN / Vehicle Tracking. Great grasp of Austroads, Australian Standards and DTP design / technical guidelines and standards. Good knowledge of general traffic and transport industry i.e. planning phase and delivery. Good written skills so you can prepare fee proposals and write an eloquent email. TIA, traffic analysis and general traffic engineering skills - you'll need to know how the traffic sector in Melbourne works. It's a fair ask. Great role. We need someone local to Melbourne.
