Your Role at St John of God Subiaco Hospital You will be responsible for providing a highly professional standard of reception customer service to patients, visitors and caregivers who present to the Admissions Department, including but is not limited to processing administration documentation and escorting patients to the ward. The Position Deal with all inquiries at the main admissions reception area in a calm, professional manner, demonstrating a five star customer service and values in line with our service ethos. Deal with emergency admissions according to hospital policy and procedures. Screen incoming telephone calls to best disseminate to the desired area in main admissions Receive patients coming in for Pre Admission clinics and notify the necessary Pre-Admission nurse Escorting of patients as required You will have a welcoming and empathetic customer service approach with the ability to liaise effectively with patients and others. You will have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with a flexible approach to the rquirements of a shift roster. To succeed you will possess sound data entry skills, confidence with MS Office, computers and other general office equipment. Previous experience in a hospital/healthcare environment is desirable but not essential.
