Your commitment to delivering person-centred support to our participants and their families is essential in the role where you will bring your industry experience to provide active supported decision making, inclusive practice as well as building and maintaining community connections. We have a number of casual and part-time vacancies, seeking those who have availability to work a variety of shifts across a 24/7 roster including mornings, afternoons, evenings as well as weekends. Whilst no two days are alike, working within our accommodation services may include: Assisting with personal care tasks including showering, toileting, and dressing. Preparing and assisting with meal preparation and eating. Administering medication and offering mobility assistance. Supporting participants with attendance at appointments and community-based events. Offering meaningful and active support to enable participants to achieve their goals. We will value your Genuine desire to provide person-centred care for people with disability. Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven computer skills. Initiative and drive to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Flexibility and availability to work a range of shifts over a 24/7 roster. Ideally, you will bring a wealth of knowledge and/or experience in a similar role. Have or a willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Check, and Working With Children Check. Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle. Why you will love working for us Part-time hourly rate between $33.41 and $36.46 per hour, and casual hourly rate between $41.76 and $45.58 per hour (plus superannuation).
