The Role Our client, one of Australia’s largest food manufacturing companies, is seeking multiple Maintenance Electrician’s for day or night shift to support the maintenance team and production of the business. This role requires someone with experience in a similar role. This is a Permanent, Full-Time position (Monday – Friday, day or night shift). Day shift 5am-1pm, night shift 9pm-5am. Key Responsibilities Maintain, control and diagnose FMCG machinery such as high-speed fillers, mixers, conveyors, sensors, hydraulic robotic machinery and packaging machines. Troubleshoot electrical faults, production breakdowns, production start-ups and operating settings Using the CMMS system for work requests and allocation of tasks including planned maintenance. Use of MEX to enter data and work history. Work collaboratively with Production Managers and Administration Managers to ensure adequate skills and knowledge transfer in relation to the deployment of new plant and machinery Support projects and new installations from start to finish, ensuring complete documentation. The Candidate Experience in a similar role or as a commercial electrician seeking entry into the manufacturing industry. Current QLD Electrical Certificate (essential).
