Your Role You will be responsible for providing high standard support and assistance to patients, visitors and caregivers and directing queries accordingly. The Position Managing busy reception including Outpatient Clinics. Coordinate outpatient clinic and bookings. Liaise with medical and allied health caregivers about clinic changes. Process payments and admissions through patient administration system Assist patients, visitors and general public with enquiries and directions. Receive and process referrals, checking health insurance details and notifying patient of any extra charges they may incur. Liaise and communicate with a broad allied health and outpatient team to ensure exceptional patient service. Other general administration duties Informs the Allied Health Manager of any problems encountered whilst of duty. You will have interpersonal skills – ability to relate to hospital staff, patients, families and medical staff and ability to priorities a busy and varied workload. To succeed you will have availability to work across at least four days a week and demonstrate excellent problem solving and communication skills.
