THE OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehousing & Distribution Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehousing and distribution department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring the efficient and timely distribution of products, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards. This role involves both hands-on work and cross-department collaboration to achieve company objectives. Roles & Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the warehousing and distribution department in NSW, supporting other state warehouses as needed Ensure efficient inventory management and timely distribution of products. Maintain safety and compliance standards within the department and in the facility Pick Orders, pack items and put kits together, perform quality checks prior to dispatch Liaise with freight companies for best service and price Liaise with other states on transfers Foster a positive and productive team environment Implement and monitor sustainability initiatives Collaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience: Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Proven experience in a leadership role within warehousing and distribution. Strong understanding of inventory management and distribution processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. A Forklift Licence Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technologies. Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in warehousing and distribution. Experience in implementing process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
