About the Role: PQE Partners are exclusively partnering with a financial services client seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of legal matters, with a strong focus on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance and financial services. You'll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, providing strategic legal advice and helping to manage risk across the business. Key Responsibilities: Advise on commercial contracts, regulatory obligations and compliance matters Draft, review and negotiate a variety of agreements, including IT, procurement and financial services contracts Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders Monitor legal and regulatory developments, ensuring compliance with industry requirements Work closely with external counsel on complex legal matters About You: You’ll have at least 8 years of post-qualification experience, ideally with a background in financial services, lending or banking. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage a varied workload are essential.
