The Role Continually looking to shape the urban landscape, our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Design Manager to sit in their development team, uphold their impressive brand and ensure excellence in design and project delivery. Your main areas of responsibility will be; Reviewing and analysing projects against internal design standards, performance requirements, marketing collateral, and contractual requirements Getting involved in all project phases and following a project through its lifespan Conducting apartment layout planning analysis with recommendations for improvement Participating in marketing phase activities, including render reviews, finishes, styling selections and marketing plan reviews Reviewing and interrogating all project-related shop drawings Reviewing milestone drawing documentation packages and schedules Interrogating designs to ensure high quality, meeting project budget and aesthetic requirements Leading the selection of budget appropriate finishes and fixtures that maintain the original design aesthetic and quality outcomes required the project Facilitating and managing the sample sign off approval process Reviewing projects and recommending value management opportunities About You As the Design Manager you will have; Masters of Architecture A minimum of 5 years post-graduation work experience on luxury residential or multi-residential Projects. Design, documentation and site experience Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple project stakeholders Superior organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities A Passion for architecture and an eye for making good, practical, design decisions.
