Description Nestled within the serene, natural forest surroundings of the University of Newcastle’s Central Coast campus, KU Ourimbah Preschool and Children’s Centre offers a unique and inspiring environment for both children and educators. Surrounded by cultivated grounds and lush greenery, our centre provides the perfect backdrop for creativity and exploration. We are proud to offer ample free onsite parking, with convenient bus services running from Ourimbah Station directly to the campus, making commuting a breeze. Operating all year round, from 7:00am-6:00pm, Monday to Friday, we prioritize the work-life balance of our team. Our rotating rosters ensure that both Diploma Educators (weekly) and Certificate III Educators (every three weeks) enjoy a refreshing variety, making each day at KU Ourimbah unique and fulfilling. At our purpose-built facility, we provide a warm and welcoming space for up to 59 children, ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. The heart of our service is a quality play-based learning program, enriched by our Forest Preschool and daily excursions across the stunning campus. This special connection to nature allows children to thrive as they explore, discover, and grow alongside each other. The Role We are looking for a Certificate III qualified educator to join the service on a permanent part-time role working 3 hours per day 5 days a week Monday – Friday.
