Job Title: OOSH Child Care Educator (Casual Pool) Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic OOSH Child Care Educator to join our casual pool team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our care, maintaining accurate records, developing daily care routines, adhering to policies and procedures, liaising with families, and promoting innovation and continuous improvement within the program. Whilst we will seek to create a minimum number of shifts per week, we are also looking for candidates who are flexible and mobile to fill sporadic shifts that open from time to time. Casual Conditions: Employees may be asked to work across our 3 OOSH Programs located at Nord’s Wharf, Caves Beach and Swansea NSW. Employees may be entitled to additional shift allowances and entitlements. Employees may be offered Vacation Care opportunities. Career progression opportunities available. Skills: Good communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team Knowledge of child development principles and My Time Our Place Framework First aid certification Working with Children Check Valid NSW Driver’s License Responsibilities: Ensure a safe environment is maintained for staff and children Maintain accurate records for each child in care Develop, implement, and evaluate daily care routines Adhere to service policies and procedures Liaise with families regarding their child’s progress and needs Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the program Qualifications: Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) Previous experience working in a childcare setting preferred, however not necessary.
