It was – and remains – a new concept for high volume specialty coffee take away bringing together state of the art coffee equipment, considered architecture and responsive design. The Role We are looking for a Cafe Manager to take ownership of the Cafe at Lt. Collins. The right person will be experienced and passionate with a strong hospitality background with the ability to lead a team to execute the ultimate customer experience. Responsible for managing a team of passionate Baristas, this role requires a person who possesses both strong coffee and leadership skills to deliver an outstanding and memorable customer experience. This role offers the opportunity to: Lead a small team of passionate Baristas Work with a leading specialty coffee roaster with an innovative approach to coffee Benefit from attractive remuneration and incentives Grow within an exciting and fast moving company Be supported by our experienced roasting team, a formal and ongoing training, senior manager team and involved owners Tasks and responsibilities: Develop a positive team culture, consistent with the Industry Beans brand values Drive a market leading service experience and establishing a standard that all team members follow Inspire team members to excel providing ongoing support, coaching and instill an appreciation for quality Providing coaching and direction to the team; training and performance management as required Managing the venue’s administration, systems and ordering Rostering the team to provide optimal coverage throughout the day whilst maintaining budgets. Identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve the customer experience Maintain quality, standards, safety and presentation of the Cafe You’ll be perfect for this role if you have: A passion for specialty coffee and hospitality At least three years’ experience in a similar management role Strong all-round Customer service and Barista skills The ability to influence, lead by example and achieve buy-in from your team A passion for creating the ultimate customer experience Advanced interpersonal, communication, customer service and leadership skills A strong work ethic with the ability to meet and surpass KPIs Both an ability and enthusiasm to manage systems and software A current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desirable) A current First Aid and CPR certificate (desirable) Our Culture & Employee Benefits Industry Beans is committed to an inclusive and healthy, skilled and dedicated workplace culture.
