About the role: Our established and growing team is looking for a Civil engineer with 3 years of experience in the Civil sector. The position will offer a competitive base salary of $90,000 to $100,000 plus superannuation The successful candidates should: • Designing residential buildings, foundations, and load-bearing. • Assessing soil, foundation, and material suitability for residential projects. • Preparing engineering drawings and specifications for approvals and construction. • Conducting site inspections to assess ground conditions and determine suitable foundation types. • Evaluating project feasibility, including cost estimates, safety, and sustainability factors. • Identifying potential structural risks and recommending solutions. • Ensuring compliance with the National Construction Code (NCC), local council regulations, and environmental laws. • Preparing and submitting reports to relevant authorities for permits and approvals. • Supervising construction activities to ensure work aligns with engineering designs and specifications. • Coordinating with builders, architects, surveyors, and contractors to maintain quality and timelines. • Addressing construction issues and modifying designs as necessary. • Preparing cost estimates for construction materials, labor, and project timelines. • Recommending cost-effective design modifications while maintaining safety and quality • Preparing engineering reports, site assessments, and technical documentation. • Communicating with clients, councils, and stakeholders regarding project progress and approvals.
