Software Engineer (C# – Windows) A leading technology company is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Software Engineer (C# – Windows) to join its Platform Software Engineering Team based in Sydney. This team is responsible for supporting a diverse range of machine configurations, communication protocols, and global markets, it is an essential pillar to the business. Given the proprietary and complex nature of the software, we’re looking for individuals with a strong technical background and, more importantly, a willingness to learn the unique constraints of software development in a regulated industry. Role Responsibilities: Conduct technical assessments on requested features and define the scope of work. Design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust, and testable software solutions. Own key parts of the system, ensuring stability and high-quality solutions. Adhere to SOLID design principles and best practices in software architecture. Provide technical guidance to stakeholders and collaborate closely with team members. Improve the full lifecycle of services, from inception to deployment and beyond. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3 years of commercial experience in .NET (v4.7.2) using C# (5 years for senior engineers). Strong knowledge of SOLID design principles and design patterns. Experience in developing multithreaded applications and services. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
