Administration Officer – Program Delivery & Assessment Lead the development and continuous improvement of academic timetables and assessments Work with academic and professional staff to optimize teaching and learning experiences Full time, fixed-term position for 12 months About the opportunity Join the School of Paramedicine team to deliver and continuously improve academic timetabling and assessment services. This role involves developing, managing, and enhancing timetabling and assessment processes. You will work closely with key stakeholders to gather teaching data, ensuring efficient and effective timetables and assessments. The position requires operating with minimal supervision, collaborating with academic and professional staff to build strong, outcome-focused relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills to support the School of Paramedicine’s educational goals. What you’ll do: Manage the creation of student timetables by accessing systems like Syllabus Plus and consulting with academic and professional staff. Provide basic support for MyLo, including setting up assessments and rubrics, in collaboration with Unit Coordinators and the Digital Futures innovation team. Coordinate and support the organisation, delivery, and processing of exams and assessments, ensuring compliance with university guidelines and policies. Offer a wide range of administrative services to support the daily operations of the school, including student communications and participation in campus activities. Utilise Microsoft Office, internet browsers, and university systems to prepare forms, correspondence, and communications. What we’re looking for: Completion of an Associate Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience and/or training. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in task execution. Proficiency in various computer software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software, email, and internet resources. High-level written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as a team member and interact professionally with a wide range of stakeholders. Ability to adapt to changing tasks and work independently or as part of a small team. Salary details Appointment to this role will be at HEO 4 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $88,479 comprising base salary within the range of $71,387 to $75,623 plus 17% superannuation.
