Description Reporting directly to the General Manager, as Sales Representative with an existing customer base, you will be responsible for the following: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the timber industry Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients Generate new leads and follow up on potential sales opportunities Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. Provide feedback to management on market conditions and customer needs. Stay updated on the latest timber products, industry trends, and technological advancements Educate clients on the benefits and applications of different timber products. Gather and analyse customer feedback to improve products and services. Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns. Collaborate with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products. Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs. Mentor and support junior sales team members. Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales transactions and client interactions. Profile To be considered for this wonderful opportunity, you will require a current valid Victorian Drivers License and will be able to demonstrate the following: Proven experience in sales, within knowledge within the timber or construction materials industry. Strong understanding of timber products and their applications. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
