North Brisbane Renewable Project Fulltime permanent opportunity Long term project, with additional packages to be completed This forward-thinking energy company is dedicated to drive sustainable solutions in the renewable energy sector. Led by a team of highly skilled professionals within the industry, this contractor is experienced across wind, solar and energy storage infrastructure. With a well-equipped and experienced team in place, they are looking for a Contract Administrator with a Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction or similar background to administer all commercial agreements and contracts across the project. This battery plant project is based in Brendale and construction has now commenced, consisting of delivering bulk earthworks, transformer pads, facilities and battery installation works. The candidate will ideally possess previous experience in contract formation, tendering, negotiation, execution and administration. While working closely with the Project Manager, your role will include: Assist Project Manager in subcontractor and consultant management Preparation of procurement strategies and identification of potential subcontractors Create and negotiate contracts with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives Manage contractors and suppliers to deliver project works, materials, and services on-time, within budget, and to quality standards Maintaining continual good working relationships with a broad range of subcontractors and ensuring a good awareness of market conditions and movements Develop cost controls for project and reporting requirements Operation and maintenance of commercial and contract systems Account finalisation of head contract and subcontracts This is a highly rewarding role that will ensure long term employment here in Brisbane. To be successful you must have at least 5 years’ project contract administration experience within civil, infrastructure or resource projects and a proven track record of being able to deliver results. Proven ability to award, manage and close out contracts under budget. Relevant QS, Engineering or Construction qualifications highly desired.
